Hello everyone!

Soy Nachoz and as you can see I love drawing "cute" characters. First of all I want to take a moment to thank you for choosing this artbook, which is a great dream come true for me, in my career as an artist. 

 
I am a self-employed illustrator currently residing in Southern California and have worked in this field for the last 7 years or so primarily doing character design and video game illustrations for various companies.

I started drawing when I was still very young. I am half Japanese and half African American and spent much of my childhood in Japan.
I was exposed to the style of anime and manga at a very young age, hence my great influence. My Japanese mother often bought me manga when I was a child to practice my reading, and while this helped me read Japanese better it also made me fall in love with the drawing style and inspired me to try to bring to life my own characters. I remember showing  my drawings to my parents when I was about 11 years old and they proudly told me that I had a gift  for drawing. Although I am not sure if I met your expectations, your support encouraged me to strive to continue improving myself.

The drawings in this book are a compilation of works between  2018 until the end of 2021. I have participated in some magazines and have made illustrations for children's books and  for books of " how to draw" but this is the first art book completely dedicated to my work and although honestly, I think I have a long way to go and a lot to learn, I hope you enjoy my work in the same way that I enjoy making them.

Finally; but not least, I want to thank my family who has loved and supported me throughout my journey through this world. Without you, I would have given up on my dream a long time ago.
